Madison McMahon was diagnosed with meningitis and has now been completely healed, and her mother gives all the praise to God.

When Madison was four-weeks-old, her two-year-old sister, Kris, dropped her onto a pile of clothes. The family took their baby to the hospital, only to find out that she had early onset meningitis. The timing was perfect, however, and it gave the doctors a chance to save her.

"We actually caught it in the perfect time that she was able to receive treatment," said Madison's mother, Kelly McMahon. "She's the definition of a miracle."

Madison had surgery to remove two big pus build ups in her head, which were causing her to have seizures. She stayed at the hospital for nine weeks before coming home mid-December 2017.

Since then, Madison has been in and out of the hospital for check-ups, the doctors keeping an eye out for deficits in her development. However, three months later, she has absolutely none and has been completely healed.

"It's not something I ever imagined I would have to go through," said McMahon. "It makes me so much more grateful that I had God's grace with us because it would have been a lot harder to go through without God by our side."

McMahon encourages others who are going through a situation with their child similar to theirs is to hold on to your faith. She says that she got her strength from God alone.

"He's a miracle worker," McMahon said. "If they aren't Christian, I would strongly suggest they find God because he's the only way I got through this."
