The Manitoba RCMP is asking the public for help in locating two young men who are wanted in relation to a homicide over the weekend.

The RCMP have issued arrest warrants for Perry Durocher, 19, and Jerome Moore, 23, in connection with the homicide of a 51-year-old man from the Fisher River Cree Nation. Both men are charged with manslaughter and are currently at large. Durocher is believed to be in Winnipeg, while Moore is thought to be in Norway House.

The victim, reported missing on June 1, 2024, was found dead on June 2, 2024, in the Rural Municipality of Fisher. The discovery followed a large-scale search operation involving the RCMP Major Crime Services, D Division Search and Rescue, and Police Dog Services.

Authorities believe the killing was targeted and emphasize there is no ongoing threat to public safety. The investigation is being conducted by Fisher Branch RCMP, Major Crime Services, and Forensic Identification Services.

On June 5, 2024, the investigation led to the arrest of two female youths, aged 16 and 14, from the Fisher River Cree Nation. Both have been charged with manslaughter and are in police custody.
