Thick fog has settled over much of south-central Manitoba and is expected to hang around for a while, causing Environment Canada to issue a fog advisory.

From Environment Canada:

Dense fog banks have been reported throughout the Red River Valley, into the Interlake, and in southeastern Manitoba. The fog will persist for the remainder of the night well into the day Wednesday.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.

If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
