Police continue to search for suspects following a home invasion in Niverville Monday night.

St. Pierre RCMP responded to the incident at approximately 9:50 pm.

Police say two suspects entered the home. One of the suspects was armed with a weapon. The suspects were confronted by the homeowner, a 47-year-old female. Police say a 17-year-old male was also home at the time.

One of the suspects grabbed the female on the arm, but after she screamed, he let go and the two suspects took off on foot. Numerous RCMP officers attended the scene, along with Police Dog Services, but the suspects were not located.

Police say both suspects were wearing light coloured ski masks, which were covering their faces.

One of the suspects is described as about 6' tall, with a thin build and having a lighter skin tone. The other suspect is shorter than the first and also appeared to have a lighter skin tone. One of the suspects was wearing a grey jacket.
