A 24-year-old man has been arrested by police in connection with a robbery Tuesday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of a commercial robbery at around 4:25 p.m. Tuesday. A male suspect had entered a convenience store located in the 100 block of Keewatin Street and had threatened the clerk on duty with a knife, demanding store product.

The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) Major Crimes Unit investigated, and subsequently arrested a male suspect in the area. He has been charged with Robbery and Failure to Comply with Recognizance.
