The Winnipeg Police Service says a missing woman has been located deceased.

Noy Bounvongxay was last seen on Thursday in the Southdale neighbourhood of Winnipeg.

On Saturday evening the WPS sent out an update saying Bounvongxay had died.

Winnipeg police say her death does not appear to be suspicious.
