Manitoba Hydro reported an outage affecting more than 1,200 customers in the Norwood area of Winnipeg. 

Early Tuesday morning, crews replaced a hydro pole that was damaged in a vehicle collision at 271 St. Mary's Road. 

Crews reported power restoration at 7:40 am. 

 

Also Tuesday morning, an unplanned outage in the Transcona neighbourhood had lights out at various intersections including Regent and Day, Regent and Madeline.

Motorists are reminded to treat all blank intersections as an all way stop before proceeding cautiously through the intersection.  

According to the Manitoba Hydro outage portal, more than 2,000 customers are affected with expected restoration around 11:30 am.
