Jordan St. Cyr and his family are asking for prayers after his daughter was rushed to hospital on Monday morning.

Emery St. Cyr, 2, suffers from a rare neurological disease called Sturge Weber Syndrome. It is known to cause seizures, and it appears the young girl suffered another one Monday after going over two years without one.

"Seizure free for over 2 years but this morning we got hit with what appears to be another one," Jordan writes in an update on his social media accounts. "Asking for prayers. Let’s lift our little Emery up knowing the promise God has for her."

Doctors initially were concerned that she may have suffered a stroke. After a number of tests though, doctors cleared the child to return home late Monday afternoon.

Speaking on the strain as a parent watching a child go through something like this, Jordan says, "It's the worst but I know we'll make it through."
