The province of Manitoba is reporting 10 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, 6 of those reported on Sunday.

That brings the total number of cases to 394.

As of Friday, the number of active cases was at 58, but with the newly reported numbers, it brings that total to 68. Two people were in intensive care with the virus, as of Friday.

As of Thursday, public health officials said they will no longer be announcing any COVID-19 positive cases found on Hutterite colonies unless there poses a risk to the public.

People in Hutterite communities around the province say they have faced discrimination since the information was released that several cases were linked to some of the colonies.

To date, 81,186 COVID-19 tests had been completed in the province since early February.
