Have you seen this Snapchat username on your child's phone? RCMP Manitoba says it is connected to an ongoing investigation regarding child luring, sexual assault, and other related charges.
On Thursday, 18-year-old Bradley Schroeder was arrested by the Manitoba RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
The suspect goes by "notelectric" online. Police are releasing the suspect's Snapchat avatar, saying it may help them in the investigation.
"Investigators believe there may be more victims and encourage anyone with information to contact their local police," RCMP Manitoba says in a statement.
They say he is being charged for communicating with children online for sexual purposes between April and July.
He is facing two counts of the following charges:
- Luring a Child
- Sexual Assault
- Sexual Interference
He is also being charged with Possession of Child Pornography.
The suspect will be appearing in court on February 3 in Winnipeg.
