Authorities are hoping a sketch will bring forward information after a serious incident in Portage la Prairie.
On August 17, RCMP Manitoba says they received a morning phone call, alerting them that a nine-year-old girl was in a residence's back lane and approached by a stranger. They say the man grabbed her, asking her if she wanted to come home with him. The girl fled, unharmed.
Now, a forensic artist’s composite sketch of the suspect is being released.
(RCMP Manitoba/Supplied)Police say the suspect is approximately 40 years old, Caucasian, and has an average build. He has a long white beard and short white hair with a bald spot. He is approximately 5'3 tall. The suspect has blue or green eyes.
Those with information are being asked to contact the Portage la Prairie RCMP at 204-857-4445, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or submit a secure tip online.
