A 22-year-old woman from Steinbach has been safely located.

Police say Jewell Emily Wood was not seen since last week Thursday when she was observed walking away from her residence along Wilson Street in Steinbach.

A missing persons report was filed Monday morning.

The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.
