One man is facing a lengthy list of charges and is in custody.

On May 9, 2024, Selkirk General Investigation Section (GIS) and the East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) executed a search warrant in Selkirk at a home on Schultz Avenue. The search warrant was part of an ongoing drug investigation. 

Officers seized multiple guns and ammunition, 19 grams of cocaine, 580 tablets of suspected percocet and fentanyl, as well as cash and drug paraphernalia.

A 32-year-old male has now been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm with readily accessible ammunition, possession of a prohibited magazine, and possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number.
