Your Christmas tree shopping may not start until there's some snowfall, but Winnipeg City Hall is already on the hunt. 

They are asking if anyone has or knows someone who has a large spruce tree they would be interested in donating for City Hall's annual Christmas tree display. 

The tree must be located in the front yard of a property with direct access to the potential tree, it must be 12 to 15 meters tall, and be symmetrical, single trunked, and fully green.

You do not receive compensation for your donation except to have the tree removed for free, clean up and stump included.
