A serious collision Wednesday morning shut down a portion of Ness Avenue for a couple of hours.

Emergency crews were called to Ness Avenue at Woodlawn Street just before 8 a.m. today.

Two pedestrians, both teenagers, were struck while crossing at a crosswalk in the area.

Both were transported to hospital in unstable condition, but have since been upgraded to stable condition.

Streets in the area were shut down as a result of the crash, but have since been reopened.

Winnipeg Police continue to investigate.
