The City of Winnipeg is no longer any watches or warnings.

Environment Canada says some parts of eastern Manitoba are under severe thunderstorm warnings or watches.

 

Severe Thunderstorm Warning

Environment Canada is warning that the conditions could cause flash floods and rising water levels due to heavy rainfall. They are additionally cautioning that severe thunderstorms have the potential to create tornados.

West Hawk Lake and nearby areas are under a warning due to a group of thunderstorms south of Falcon Lake to the east of Big Whiteshell Lake. It is moving toward the northeast at 20 km/h.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch

As of 5:00 p.m, Environment Canda is tracking a line of severe thunderstorms near St. Malo that is moving toward the east at 30 km/hour. Areas including Steinbach may be affected. The storm may produce winds up to 90 km/hour and quarter-sized hail.
