A lot of changes have been taking place recently for Siloam Mission, and that now includes a new drop-off location for donations.

The move comes out of a need to make room for more donations as the mission continues to attract support from Winnipeggers and Manitobans.

Effective immediately, all clothing, food and other non-monetary donations will be accepted at a new loading area on Stanley Street at Logan Avenue.

This new space is opening just over a week after the opening of Siloam Mission’s brand new kitchen, dining room and drop-in centre at 303 Stanley Street.

Siloam says the new building provides expanded warehouse space in a building just south of the new facility.

Siloam is also extending its donation drop-off hours, now open weekdays from 8 AM to 7:30 PM, and weekends and holidays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Financial donations will continue to be accepted in the Administrative Offices at 300 Princess Street during office hours, weekdays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
