UPDATE: The City of Winnipeg said in a release that, 

"The Declared Parking Ban, which extends the Annual Snow Route Parking Ban by two hours (midnight to 7 a.m. rather than 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.) will end Saturday morning at 7 a.m. The Annual Snow Route Parking Ban will remain in effect as scheduled until March 1.

The City of Winnipeg has issued a Declared Snow Route Parking Ban in effect for Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Parking is prohibited on snow routes from midnight to 7 a.m.

The Declared Snow Route Parking Ban extends the Annual Snow Route Parking Ban by two hours, prohibiting parking on any designated snow route between midnight and 7a.m.

Vehicles parked in violation of the Declared Snow Route Parking Ban may receive a $100 ticket ($75 if paid early), and may be towed to the towing company's compound.

The Declared Snow Route Parking Ban will be in place until snow clearing is completed and the public will be notified when the ban is lifted. At such time, the Annual Snow Route Parking Ban will continue to be in effect from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.
