Heavy snow and high winds are expected to impact southern Manitoba Sunday evening and throughout Monday.

Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for most parts of southern Manitoba.

Snow is expected to begin Sunday evening with 5-10 cm for most areas.  Winds will blow from the northeast at 30 km/h with gusts up to 50 km/h.

Another 5-10 cm of snow is expected throughout the day on Monday.

The snow should begin to taper off on Monday late in the day as the system moves eastward.
