As the city moves from one season to the next, the City of Winnipeg is beginning to undertake its annual grass mowing program.

The City of Winnipeg's annual spring cleanup is being deemed as complete by the City.

Streets, sidewalks, boulevards, and city-owned parks have now been cleaned of dirt and debris leftover from the winter.

The City is asking residents who believe there is excess sand on their boulevard can call 311 to report it until June 15. If a resident believes their street was missed, the City is encouraging them to call 311 before June 30.

"The City wishes to thank residents for their cooperation while cleanup operations were underway," the City says.

Along with the completion of the cleaning, the spring parking ban is no longer in effect.

Starting today the City is embarking on its annual grass mowing program.
