October 7th in Nashville, Tennesee, The Dove Awards drew in a record attendance as they handed out awards in 42 categories with 4 special awards. 

MercyMe's Bart Millard and Lecrae hosted the evening of celebration and music as Hillsong UNITED was awarded 5 honors, including "Artist of the Year" and "Song of the Year". Other multiple winners of the evening were Switchfoot and Skillet.
