In total, nine individuals are currently hospitalized including six in intensive care.

Eleven people have recovered from COVID-19 in Manitoba.

"This is not the time for fear. This is the time for action," Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba's Chief Provincial Public Health Officer says.

The Province recorded its second death and an additional 15 cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number in Manitoba to 182.

"These are challenging times for us all," Roussin says. "We're seeing our case numbers continue to grow, we're seeing severe outcomes which is distressing for many Manitobans... but by staying home we're interrupting the transmission of this virus."
