Update (5:45 a.m.):

Manitoba Infrastructure reports that the Trans-Canada highway has been reopened from the Perimeter Highway to Portage la Prairie.

Brad Milne from Manitoba Highways says that caution is still needed this morning. "There are a lot of lightly snow-packed roads [in the Interlake] . . . We do have crews out, and they're doing their best to get them back to normal seasonal drives as quickly as they can."
