Manitoba's favourite troubadour will be on stage for two special concerts in the near future.

Steve Bell will be sharing the stage with another Manitoba talent, Don Amero, next week. The two songwriters will be performing on stage at the same time, on Thursday, April 27, at Elim Chapel in Winnipeg, at 7:30 p.m.

"It's a kind of Folk Festival style," Bell says. "We'll be up on stage at the same time, and just trade songs and stories back and forth. It's a really laid back, and fun type of show."

The concert is in support of Winnipeg's North End Family Centre.

Then in May, Bell hits the stage again, this time in support of his neighbour.

"My neighbour has a severe back problem and needs to get an operation in Germany. It's kind of one of those unique things. So they're trying to raise $70,000.00 so she can get her life back. It's a lovely, lovely family. So I said I'd do a concert."

That concert takes place May 11, at McIvor MB Church, at 7:00 p.m.

Both concerts are the last chance to see Steve Bell in concert solo for the next while. His future shows will be with a full band, as well as another symphony concert this fall. And both concerts are free admission, with free-will offerings taken with 100% of the proceeds going toward their designated causes.
