It was the year of babies for a sheriff's office in Kentucky.

About two weeks ago, the Boone County Sheriff's Office posted a photo on Facebook with fifteen employees, all holding babies close in age.

"We’re growing in more than one way," said the Sheriff's Office in a post on Facebook. "BCSO Baby Boom, circa 2023."

The post gained significant attention with thousands of people clicking on it and hundreds of people commenting.

"Awesome seeing these men and women prioritizing having kids. It's a gift and blessing!" said one follower. "A blessing from God all those lil' babies," said another.

A local photographer, Kyla Scudder with Kyla Mae Photography, learned about the baby boom and offered to photograph the officers for free.

"What an incredible opportunity it was to do this session," said Kyla. "So thankful I got this opportunity & what a privilege it is to serve the ones who do so much for us."

The Boone County Sheriff's Office says the group of fifteen officers is just a small portion of their office. In total, the office is home to 180 deputies.
