Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Brady Oliveira was named a finalist for the CFL's Most Outstanding Player award Wednesday.

Candidates are chosen by the Football Reporters of Canada and nine CFL head coaches.

The last two years saw Zach Collaros being named the Blue Bombers Most Outstanding Player.

This season, Oliveira led the league in yards and touchdowns, rushing 1,534 yards and nine touchdowns.

Along with being up for the Most Outstanding Player Award, Oliveira is also a finalist for the Most Outstanding Canadian Player award.
