Winnipeg Police are searching for a suspect in connection to the city's latest homicide. 

At around 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 100 block of Austin Street North for the report of a stabbing incident. 

When they arrived, they found two males suffering from stab wounds. Both victims were transported to hospital, one in critical, the other in stable condition. 

One of the men, 41-year-old Kevin James Wescoupe of Winnipeg, has since succumbed to his injuries. The second male, a 38-year-old, has been upgraded to stable condition. 

No arrests have been made. The Homicide Unit is investigating.
