A 46-year-old man is dead following what police believe was an altercation between two people in Winnipeg's Spence neighbourhood.
At around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers were called to the 500 block of Furby Street for reports of a critically injured man. At the scene, officers found the man suffering from serious injuries. They provided medical care until paramedics arrived.
The victim, who has been identified as 46-year-old Abubakarr Koroma, was transported to hospital in unstable condition. He later died of his injuries.
Winnipeg police are considering his death a homicide and are trying to piece together what happened.
