Winnipeg police have arrested a suspect in connection to a mass shooting that took place last weekend in downtown Winnipeg.

On Nov. 26 at around 4:05 a.m., officers were called to a home in the 100 block of Langside Street for the report of multiple injured people.

When they arrived, they found five people suffering from gunshot wounds. 24-year-old Crystal Beardy, 33-year-old Stephanie Beardy, 29-year-old Melelek Lesikel, and 41-year-old Dylan Maxwell died of their injuries. A 55-year-old man remains in critical condition.

The Homicide Unit has since identified and arrested a suspect. 32-year-old Jamie Randy Felix has been charged with second-degree murder x4 and attempt to commit murder. 

He remains in custody.
