New information has been released in the investigation into Colten Pratt's disappearance in Winnipeg seven years ago.

Police had said the 26-year-old Indigenous man was seen on November 6, 2014, in the city's downtown, and they believed he was also seen in a bus shelter on the corner of Main Steet and Redwood Avenue early the following day.

They say they've since acquired video of someone believed to be Pratt at the bus shelter between 12:20 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. of that day, and they believe he had an encounter with two people there.

Winnipeg Police are asking anyone who recalls seeing activity at the bus shelter or has further information about the events to contact them.
