Winnipeg Police Service closing several streets due to a 'serious incident'

Update: All roads have reopened.

Police were closing several streets in the St. James area near the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport and Weston residential neighbourhood due to a report of a suspicious package.

Police say a suspicious package was reported at business in the 1700 block of Dublin Avenue.

Route 90 between Notre Dame Avenue and Saskatchewan Avenue was closed due to the incident. Police also closed Dublin Avenue from Border Street and Sherwin Road.

The Winnipeg Police are currently dealing with a serious incident in the area of King Edward and Dublin. Police will be progressively closing streets in that area. Starting with Route 90 between Notre Dame and Saskatchewan. Dublin will also be closed from Border to Route 90.
