Woman charged in death of one-year-old boy

Manitoba RCMP have charged a 26-year-old woman after a toddler was found dead in Wasagamack First Nation.

Island Lake RCMP responded to the First Nation shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday where they found a deceased one-year-old boy.   

A 26-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with second-degree murder. 

She remains in custody.
