Candace Cameron Bure took to social media this week as a proud mom after her son preached to thousands at a church in Los Angeles last weekend.

Bure quoted 1 Timothy 4:12 in a post sharing a video of her son, Lev, preaching a powerful sermon on conduct Sunday.

"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity," the verse reads.

Lev, 19, spoke on conduct during his sermon, referring to Matthew 5:16, which says, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

"He's saying don't be afraid, don't be ashamed," Lev preached to the congregation numbering in the thousands. "Yes, this world is full of sin, yes it's a dark world. So what are people going to look at? They're going to look at the light."

A second post by Bure this week showed her support for her son and the message he delivered.

"What a blessing @levvbure you are to me and the thousands of people you shared with today at church and online!!," the actress wrote.

"My son had an opportunity to preach the word at @shepherdchurch this weekend along with 4 other young men and women. They are our future leaders and God anointed their words as they spoke truth, love, encouragement and a call to action to all of us."

Bure concluded her post with the hashtags "#Proudmama" and "#GlorytoGod."
