Close to 600 people are expected to make their way to Agape Table this morning to take part in a special Christmas feast.

The meal will include everything from turkey to potatoes, to vegetables and pies. Guests will also be treated to a wide variety of entertainment.

Dave Feniuk, General Manager of Agape Table says, it is important to host events like this in the community they are located in.

"It's a time of sharing, and a time of getting together. We have been the support system for our guests for quite some time, and this is our way of thanking them for their support," says Feniuk.

A number of delegates including, Mayor Brian Bowman, some MLA's and a few Winnipeg Blue Bomber alumni, will be on hand to help serve the Christmas meal.

This will be the last Christmas feast at their current location in the All Saints Anglican Church, as they continue to hunt for a new facilty.

"Our Board Members are burning the midnight oil trying to secure a place, but as of yet, we don't have a place to move to at the end of February," says Feniuk

The building in which Agape is currently housed will be turned into a mixed rental apartment complex in the new year.
