Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) has announced an increase in enrollment for the upcoming school year. 

The first full week of school is underway for almost 1,000 students at CMU and its downtown campus, Menno Simons College (MSC). 

Preliminary fall enrollment numbers show a three per cent increase in CMU degree programs for the 2018/19 school year. The anticipated full-time equivalent (FTE) at the main campus sits at 675, while FTE at MSC remains steady at 286.

12 per cent of the student population is comprised of international students, representing 30 countries, while 75 per cent are from Winnipeg and the surrounding communities.

New to CMU is four Bachelor of Science degree options, including majors in Mathematics and Biology.
