Three artists have been nominated for Best Gospel Album for the upcoming Indigenous Music Awards. 

The awards show will take place on May 17, at the Club Regent Event Centre in Winnipeg.

Two Canadians are in the running this year.

The nominees are:

  • Murphy Platero - Butterflies, Horses, and Guitars
  • Yvonne St. Germain - Country Christmas
  • Erin Aubichon - Erin Aubichon

Winnipegger nominated

Winnipegger Don Amero recently ventured into the country music genre, and it seems to have been a wise decision.

Amero has been nominated for best country album for his latest release, Evolution.

The Winnipeg artist has three Juno nominations to his credit over the years and various other awards.
