It's been just over 20 years since dc Talk lit the Christian music world on fire with their fourth studio album, Jesus Freak. Yesterday, the band lit social media on fire with a vague cover photo on the band's official Facebook page:
"2017." That's it. Just a dark picture with the number 2017 was enough to get people buzzing. Then today they changed their cover photo yet again:
The band has officially been on hiatus since 2000, though they have recorded a few singles together in the last 16 years. Last year both Michael Tait and TobyMac mentioned that they would love to do a "20 years later" tour for Jesus Freak. Could this be it? Keep it locked to CHVN next Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. and we'll share the big news with you ... whatever it may be.
