NEEDTOBREATHE has released a new song, and they're dedicating it to people who go the extra mile with no recognition.

The song, 'Everknown' was released last week on June 22, and the coinciding music video this week.

"We wanted to dedicate it to the humble heroes. To the people who work day in and day out to make the world around them better and expect nothing in return," said NEEDTOBREATHE in a social media post. "Often, we get too caught up in our own day-to-day lives and stresses to lift these people and show them how thankful we are."

'Everknown' is the first track the band has released off their upcoming new album CAVES.

NEEDTOBREATHE is using the song to challenge their listeners to take a moment and give a shout-out to the humble hero in their lives.

"Tell a story about them. Talk about the impact they’ve made in their community, or just let people know what makes them special."

In return, the group will be handing out a bunch of NEEDTOBREATHE care packages to the people that listeners nominate to show their appreciation.

Each member of the band has also taken the time to nominate a humble hero. Josh gave a shout-out to his teachers, and Seth thanked Bill Heckard for teaching him everything he knows about recording and audio. Bear gave a big thank you to his eighth-grade teacher.

NEEDTOBREATHE's ninth studio album is set to be released this fall.
