Mac Powell is putting out 2 tracks ahead of new album

The founder of Third Day is sharing honest lyrics in a sneak peek of his newest solo album.

Mac Powell is releasing two songs ahead of his latest album, New Creation.

The Connections podcast: real life, real faith

One of Powell's leading tracks, "Love is the Reason," begins in a way Christian music doesn't typically - it talks about him not wanting to go to church when he was young.

The song goes on to share conversations he had with his mother about why they go, and with his family about the act of love through difficult times.

The second track he is releasing “The Center Of It All," focuses on God's presence "from the beginning to the ending."
