Police are investigating a homicide after finding a man dead in a residence Wednesday night.

Around 9:10 p.m. on November 13, 2019, Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) members received to a report of "suspicious circumstances."

Officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Dufferin Avenue near Arlington Street where they located a man deceased upon arrival. The man appeared to have been shot.

The man's cause of death has been ruled a homicide following a post-mortem examination. The deceased male has been identified as 21-year-old Dustin Cree Baker.
