It's election day in Manitoba.

Opinion polls have consistently suggested Brian Pallister's Tories have a sizable lead province-wide but are in a tight race with the NDP in Winnipeg, where most legislature seats are.

Pallister has said he is the only leader who can keep the province's books in order and has promised more tax cuts, including cutting an education levy on properties.

The New Democrats and Liberals are promising to undo some of Pallister's changes which they say have hurt health care and other services.

Polls are open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Live results will be available here as they come in.
