Police tweeted that a missing man has been found safe.

Winnipeg Police Service sent out a missing person report yesterday afternoon.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 25-year-old man.

Russell Damian Sand was last seen on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at around 11:30 pm at The Forks, and police say they are concerned for his well-being. 

He is described as Metis, 6'0 in height, with a skinny build and sandy-brown hair in a "Justin Bieber" style cut. 

Police say he was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a black hoodie, black jeans and blue/tan boots. 

He was also carrying a grey backpack. 

Anyone with information regarding Sand's whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 204-986-6222.
