A large power outage in Winnipeg's west has 2,350 customers without power as of 7:30 a.m.

Parts of Assiniboia Downs, Buchanan, Crestview, Glendale, and Westwood are all affected.

There is no word on the cause of the outage at this time.

Manitoba Hydro says the estimated time of restoration is currently 9:30 a.m.
