A 23-year-old man is being charged with First Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder in connection to a gang-related shooting.

On November 2, a 23-year-old man from Winnipeg was shot and killed at a Winnipeg nightclub in the 200 block of Bannatyne Avenue.

In retaliation, a 20-year-old man who is believed to have been responsible for the November nightclub shooting was murdered in a residence in the 100 block of Tim Sale Drive.

Previously the Winnipeg Police Service arrested and charged three other 23-year-olds with First Degree Murder of the 20-year-old man.

On Friday, a fourth 23-year-old was arrested and charged by Winnipeg police with First Degree Murder as well as Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

Police say the fourth 23-year-old was detained in custody.
