Students and staff at Adult & Teen Challenge (ATC) are hoping and praying that stolen property will find its way back to the Christian addictions program.

"It’s been an interesting week," ATC says on their Facebook page. "Two thefts at two different ATC properties in one week!"

The first theft happened earlier this week at ATC's vehicle donation program yard, located just east of Winnipeg in the RM of Springfield. Staff say a van and an ATV were stolen from the property in that incident.

Then, on Friday morning at 6:50 a.m., thieves "disguised as construction workers drove off with our black & grey 2019 Rainbow 18 ft enclosed trailer from our downtown parking lot at Kate Street (beside Ronald McDonald house)."

Not only did the ministry suffer two thefts in the week, but it's also the second trailer theft they've been a victim of this year.

"Insurance premiums and staff time to deal with these situations take away from resources that are better used to help our students, their families and community," the ministry says.
