Leah Sharibu of Northern Nigeria was abducted three years ago and she is still in captivity for her Christian faith.

According to Voice of the Martyr's, Sharibu, along with 110 girls were kidnapped on February 19, 2018, by Islamic jihadists from Boko Haram.

Most of the girls were Muslims and from Dapchi's Government Girls' Science and Technical College.

104 of the girls were returned to their families a few weeks later while five girls died in that time.

Sharibu, only 14-years-old at the time, is still being held captive today, three years later. She is a prisoner because she "refused to cooperate" by renouncing her Christian faith and converting to Islam.

According to reports, Sharibu is alive but no closer to being set free.

VOM encourages people to "pray that these Christians will remain strong in the Lord, serving as courageous witnesses within the camps. In addition to encouraging one another in the faith, may they also have opportunities to minister to the spiritual needs of their captors."
