Racial slurs yelled at Black man during attack at skate park

Police say five people caught on video yelling racial slurs at a Black man before he was attacked in a Manitoba skateboard park appear to be Indigenous.

Police say the victim was punched, kicked, and stabbed five times by one of the women who had earlier slashed the tires of his vehicle in Brandon last night.

The victim was taken to hospital by a bystander and is expected to make a full recovery.

Two female suspects who are related are facing charges including assault and public incitement to hatred and the search continues for the other three suspects.
