Sidewalk Prophets finally release their delayed fourth album on July 3, called The Things That Got Us Here.

The album was initially supposed to be released in May but was delayed due to the pandemic.

The Dove Award-winning band started writing this album two years ago, so it has been some time in the making. The album is a reflection on good and bad times, and all the things that brought them to this place now.

The band says they took a "grass-roots approach" to recording this album, and it contains 13 tracks. They hope the songs spread hope in the midst of all life's ups and downs.

The five-piece band from Nashville, TN has Dave Frey as their frontman.

Frey has even more reason to celebrate than just the album, as he became a father for the first time in May 2020, when he and his wife welcomed William James to the world.

"You think of all those things that fell apart in life, all the days you had doubts and fears, and the many miles you travelled to get where you think you're supposed to be going; and you realize that all of that stuff--the good, the bad and the ugly--has brought you to where you are today," Frey says as he reflects on the album.
