Winnipeg police put out an unusual warning Saturday evening.
In a tweet posted around 8 p.m., police advise Winnipeg residents to be on the lookout for an eight-foot-long snake.
The large snake, which is described as white in colour, was initially seen in the 600 block of Ebby Avenue.
Please be advised that earlier today a large snake was observed in the area of Ebby Ave. The snake was white in color and approx. 8 feet long. Animal Services attended the area but were unable to locate the snake. Residents are asked to call 911 if the snake is seen.
