Winnipeg authorities say they found drugs, ammunition, and $30,000.00 in cash while searching a residence and storage unit last Thursday.

Police noticed a man known to police with a warrant out was leaving a Crestview-neighbourhood home while police were carrying out a separate search warrant.

Police searched the man and found $630 cash, a baton, and a knife on the individual.

Authorities then searched the home, finding approximately $30,000.00 in cash, score sheets, scales and packaging material, ammunition, and drugs amounting to $2400 in street value.

Later, police searched a Lowson Crescent storage facility, finding one kg of fentanyl with a street value of $400,000, one kg of methamphetamine, street value of $100,000.00, and 20 ounces of powder cocaine, with a street value of $40,000.

The 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both from Winnipeg, received seven charges related to the home and storage unit raid.
